It's a riproaring barnstomer of a show; Spike's dad and Paul's adoptive dad Old Spike in town, and the booze a-flowing.

0:00:00 "zipeadee doo, freaking doo-dah day". It's a familar greeting from The Boys' paternal figure and an official tasting of Paul's most recent alcoholic discovery. Here's another thousand a year tae ye! Also, we find out how long a penis.

0:13:21 - some catchup emails from last week's Over/Under (animated movies) which leads to a debate over whether it's right to watch a foreign movie with subtitles or English dubbing. Shockingly, someone has some crow to eat.

0:22:23 - Yes, it's *the* Al Jolson story. You'll never watch the Mammy-lover in the same way again.

0:24:23 - Pickin' And Grinnin' - the segment of the show where... yeah, well. You know by now, surely.

0:27:00 - More catchup from last week, including comments on Disney's Fantasia, Fantasia 2000, and Fantasia Nine Thousaaaaaaaaand!

0:31:03 - This Week In Stuff - Paul's junior film student card may have to be handed in at reception over his review of "McCabe And Mrs. Miller". Ebert loved it, and both he and Paul had kind words to say over the "Up" documentary series. Plus, spoilers a-plenty for "The Proposal", featuring the uber-hot Betty White.

0:54:30 - Old Spike's week in stuff has included documentaries (doodeedoo doo doo deedoodoo) "The World At War" and "Hollywood", the cast of which are all dead. Sorry about the spoiler. but we're not sorry about disclosing who *really* started the second world war.

1:12:54 - This week's question is about "added value speech", those little additional bits and bobs that people add into their speech patterns: the umms, the errrs, the y'knows, the hotaays. Maybe it's the endless wine. Maybe it's the Yeungling. Regardless, Old Spike is rendered helpless and incomprehensible with laughter by two little pieces of added value speech from his teaching days...
